The Bolt browser, which launched a beta back at CTIA with tabs, has had yet another beefy update over the weekend, implementing tighter integration with Facebook, like using the chat function. Wow, even RIM’s own Facebook client doesn’t support chat yet. Additionally, Bolt can now stream Flash video from a bunch of new sites, including MTV and BBC’s.

Facebook for BlackBerry has just gone into a limited beta, and is looking a whole lot different. The biggest feature addition is Chat, which is long overdue. The notification system has been polished up a bit, closely emulating the native drop-down BlackBerry notification bar (just for Facebook stuff instead). Navigating the primary sections of the app has been tucked into a drop-down menu next to it. The news feed has been revamped so added functions (such as Liking or commenting) is tucked away in an expandable view.

Although there is no indication of any change in version .41, but according to an overview of version 5.1, there are many bug fixes:
