LGs 3D-shooting Optimus Pad nabs March 31st retail date in Japan as T-Mobile fiddles

LGs 3D-shooting Optimus Pad nabs March 31st retail date in Japan as T-Mobile fiddles. Japan's NTT DOCOMO just announced a March 31st retail offering of LG's Optimus Pad. The Honeycomb tablet listed as model L-06C is the same 8.9-inch 1280 x 768 pixel slab known as the G-Slate 'round T-Mobile subscribers. Besides its 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor and internationally compatible 3G data and GPS, the Optimus Pad's most noteworthy features are the stereoscopic rear-facing video cameras capable of 1080p 3D capture which you can viewed directly on the L-06C with a pair of passive glasses. Unfortunately, NTT DOCOMO is mum on pricing. Remember, although T-Mobile originally hedged with a spring launch (recently rumored for April 20th), LG told us that it'd be arriving on US soil in March. So... T-Mobile, anything you'd like to add before Thursday?

LG GW 620 The first Android phone LG

I think the LG is GW620 other Android alternative to the Samsung B7610 with Windows Mobile and the Nokia N97 with Symbian. However, the LG GW620 has the lowest among the three devices display resolution and a capacitive touch screen instead of a resistive touch screen.
There are a lot of apps you can download to yur phone, the bad side is that this get saved to your phone memory, not to the SD card, so sooner or later you will end up deleting some Apps.Hope there is an firmware or software update to fix this.

LG Xenon GR500 Phone

Phone Features
The LG Xenon has a 2.8-inch LCD touchscreen with a 240 x 400-pixel resolution and support for 262K colors. It provides haptic vibration feedback when you touch icons or the onscreen keyboard, and it also has an accelerometer for auto-rotation of the screen when you turn it from portrait to landscape view. Below the screen you'll find just three buttons--one for accessing the main menu and standard send/end keys. The Home screen menu from LG's Flash user interface (UI) provides quick access to your calendar, alarm clock and digital audio player, and it provides an intuitive tab-based layout for accessing phone, multimedia and other tools. The phone also offers a four-row full QWERTY keyboard that smoothly slides out from the left side of the phone (when viewed in tall portrait mode).

LG Announces First LTE (Long-Term Evolution) Mobile Phone Modem Chip That Supports 100Mbps Download Speed

LG Phone, Handphone, Cellphone, mobile phone modemLG today announced that it has developed the first cellular phone modem chip based on 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology standards, the next-generation of wireless network. According to LG spokesman, the modem chip can theoretically support wireless download speeds of 100Mbps (megabits per second) and upload speeds of 50Mbps, faster than the broadband network speed that we currently have. This represents a significant step toward creating a market-ready 4G phone.

For the past three years, LG have been pursuing 3GPP LTE standardization, working to develop and test commercially viable LTE technology with approximately 250 of R&D staffs. The result is a 13 by 13 mm modem chip, perfectly sized for the next generation of slim-yet-powerful handsets. For its demonstration today, LG used a test terminal running Windows Mobile to play back high quality, on-demand video. In addition to this handset modem, LG is also developing the first preliminary LTE-based data card, which can replace the wireless cards currently used in computers.

“Now that LG has developed and tested the first 4G handset modem, a commercially viable LTE handset is on the horizon,” said Dr. Woo Hyun Paik, CTO of LG Electronics. “This latest breakthrough gives us a strong technology advantage that we will use to bolster our industry leadership.”
